CareerBuilder acquires post-hire services firm WORKTERRA

CareerBuilder is acquiring WORKTERRA, a cloud-based benefits administration and talent management firm. The acquisition expands CareerBuilder's product offering beyond recruitment into post-hire solutions and completes CareerBuilder's evolution into a full-service human capital management company.

The transaction closed Sept. 2. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

WORKTERRA will operate as a CareerBuilder company and David Rhodes will remain as CEO of WORKTERRA.

Founded in 2006, WORKTERRA is headquartered in Pleasanton, Calif.. It has more than 600,000 employees in its system, which provides services ranging from onboarding and benefits administration to wellness and compliance.
