February 24, 2016

CHG Healthcare Services, the second-largest US healthcare staffing firm, named David Baldridge as chief strategy officer effective Feb. 5. The role is a new position within the firm.

Baldridge joined CHG in 1990 as a client representative and has been involved in every area of CHG’s business, including serving as president of the CompHealth locum tenens division and most recently as group president of CHG’s Weatherby Healthcare division.

“Over the past 25 years, Dave has not only been a major contributor to the success of our company, but his passion, deep knowledge and experience with locum tenens has helped elevate the entire industry,” said Scott Beck, CEO of CHG Healthcare Services.

CHG employs more than 2,000 people in seven offices nationwide. In 2015, CHG’s healthcare staffing companies placed more than 12,000 medical providers.

CHG plans to build a new corporate headquarters in Midvale, Utah, which is scheduled for completion in spring 2017. The company plans to add more than 500 new employees over the next 10 years.
