Staffing software provider Bullhorn International acquired Connexys, a recruitment solutions provider for mainland Europe. The investment helps accelerate Bullhorn’s ongoing investment in Europe.

Connexys is headquartered in the Netherlands and its flagship product offering is an applicant tracking system built on the Salesforce platform. Its solutions are currently used by 300 customers and 20,000 recruitment professionals across the Netherlands, Germany, France and Belgium.

The transaction closed last week; terms were not disclosed.

Connexys’ founders — CEO Gijs van Heijst and Chief Marketing Officer Jan van Goch — will join Bullhorn’s EMEA leadership team.

Connexys is a Salesforce independent software vendor in northern Europe. Alongside its own platform, Bullhorn will provide Connexys’s existing solutions, including the Salesforce offering, in the European market. Bullhorn will also leverage the acquisition to expand investment in development of the Bullhorn platform.
