BelFlex hires former Nesco exec as COO

August 09, 2017

BelFlex Staffing Network, a light industrial staffing agency, hired Andrew Deutsch as chief operating officer, effective July 25. Deutsch will work closely with CEO Mike McCaw on strategic initiatives to grow the company in both new and existing markets, and he will focus on expanding the company’s geographic footprint and service offerings across the Midwest and Southeast.

He replaces Todd Cross in the COO role. Cross remains with BelFlex as senior director, which allows him to devote more time to his family and quality of life pursuits. He will remain actively involved with the company, focusing on the company’s West Virginia operations and several key client partnerships.

Deutsch most recently served as executive VP at Nesco Resource, an Ohio-based engineering and industrial staffing provider. He has worked in the staffing industry for more than 25 years, with responsibilities in the light industrial and clerical staffing verticals; safety and risk management; and managing a network of professional branch operations, covering the engineering, IT, technical, and accounting/finance staffing disciplines. He lived in Cleveland for 37 years before moving to Cincinnati, where Belflex is headquartered.

“Andrew understands the challenges of our industry and brings to BelFlex the ideal mix of qualities to move our business forward,” BelFlex Chairman Candace McCaw said.

BelFlex provides staffing and flexible workforce solutions to distribution and manufacturing companies in the Midwest and Southeast. Founded in 1989, the company employs more than 5,000 people through its 25 branch offices.
