Aya Healthcare, a provider of travel nursing and workforce solutions to hospitals, acquired RN & Allied Specialties, an Indianapolis-based provider of nurse and allied staffing.

“We’re excited for RNS to become a part of Aya Healthcare,” Aya Healthcare CEO Alan Braynin said. “We look forward to continuing to expand and strengthen the outstanding work of RNS as well as our relationship with hospital clients and clinicians in Indiana.”

The deal closed July 31, but terms of the transaction were not announced.

Aya Healthcare will provide RNS clients with expanded access to healthcare clinicians as well as its suite of workforce solutions. And clinicians working through RNS will now have access to Aya Healthcare’s network of travel nurse jobs nationally.

Aya Healthcare ranks No. 7 on Staffing Industry Analysts’ most recent list of largest healthcare staffing firms in the US and No. 4 on the list of largest US providers of travel nurse staffing.
