Arkansas staffing firm pays to settle complaint, but owner hasn’t heard from government (Arkansas Business)

An Arkansas staffing firm paid more than $708,000 to settle a Fair Labor Standards Act complaint, but one of the company’s owners said he has not heard from the US Department of Labor about its investigation, Arkansas Business reported. The owner said he didn’t know where the Department of Labor got the number $708,000. The department had announced last week that the firm had paid to settle the complaint.
