Alliance Resource Group, an Irvine, Calif.-based staffing firm targeting the finance and accounting sector, acquired executive search firm The Bennett Group.

The acquisition complements and enhances ARG’s current services as The Bennett Group is also headquartered in Southern California and serves the same sectors, according to the firm.

The acquisition closed April 1; terms were not disclosed.

Dean Gavello, founder and principal at The Bennett Group, joins ARG in a leadership position. Gavello recruits for C-suite executive and management-level roles in accounting, finance, tax, treasury, financial reporting and internal audit.
