Allegis Group promotes CIO to president

Allegis Group promoted Chief Information Officer Andy Hilger to president, a new position within the company, effective in November.

Hilger joined Allegis Group in 1997. Prior to assuming the CIO role, he served as VP of strategy and technology. His accomplishments include spearheading an innovation program for product development and delivery at Allegis Group. He also led the integration of the Talent2 and Aston Carter acquisitions, which expanded the enterprise’s footprint in APAC and EMEA, respectively.

Hilger’s earlier roles include VP of product development for Aerotek, VP of chairman accounts for Allegis Group Services, VP of strategy for Aerotek and VP of strategic management for Allegis Group.

“In his nearly 20 years with Allegis Group, Andy has earned the respect and trust of the senior leadership team, as well as all those who have had the privilege of working with him,” Chairman Jim Davis said. “We have always strived to be a great company that creates significant opportunity for our people, and I’m confident that Andy is the perfect leader to build on our strong foundation and create a brighter future for all of us at Allegis Group.”

Hilger will be based in Hanover, Md.
