Allegis Group acquired Switzerland-based The Stamford Group, a staffing, recruiting and services organization targeting the IT, engineering, banking and life science sectors.

The transaction closed Dec. 1; terms were not disclosed.

The Stamford Group, founded in 2001, operates two brands. Stamford Consultants provides recruiting business and technology personnel within the financial services, life science and engineering sectors. Its Talentis Solutions brand supports companies in applying effective project management in order to achieve their business objectives.

The Stamford Group will continue to operate from its Basel, Zürich and Nyon offices under its existing leadership. Allegis will continue to use The Stamford Group brand in Switzerland.
