All Star Healthcare Solutions, a Florida-based healthcare staffing focused on locum tenens and direct job opportunities for physicians, appointed Ken Bernstein as chief executive officer. Bernstein, who also retains his role as the company’s president, succeeds Keith Shattuck, who served as CEO since 2005.

Bernstein joined the company as chief financial officer in 2012 and oversaw financial planning. He became president in August 2022.

Shattuck, who will remain with All Star as chairman of its partners’ board, noted Bernstein’s extensive knowledge of All Star’s business has been instrumental in its continued growth. “Moreover, he is uniquely positioned to lead our company in its next phase of strategic development,” he said.

The company, which ranks on SIA’s list of Largest Healthcare Staffing Firms in the US, also announced Chief Strategy Officer Pat Kennedy will join the partners’ board, which she helped form.
