Agilus Work Solutions, the seventh-largest staffing firm in Canada, acquired ProVision IT Resources Ltd., a Toronto-based IT staffing provider.

“This acquisition enhances our capacity to deliver innovative recruitment solutions to enterprise, midsize and small businesses alike,” Agilus CEO Craig Brown said in a press release.

ProVision IT was a division of Hire Technologies Inc. (TSXV:HIRE.V), a network of staffing firms based in Toronto. In a regulatory filing, Hire Technologies said the purchase price was C$4.5 million (US$3.3 million). The deal closed Sept. 8.

Agilus has locations across Canada. It acquired The Delivery Group, an IT staffing firm based in Oakville, Ontario, in January 2022. It had acquired the Bowen Group in 2021.
