Advanced Medical Personnel Services Inc., a provider of allied healthcare travel staffing, acquired Rise Medical Staffing, a privately held provider of travel nurse staffing services.

The transaction closed April 27; terms were not disclosed.

Rise Medical Staffing (formerly HealthOne) is expected to give Advanced Medical a stronger foothold in the hospital setting and build on its own travel nursing division, Advanced Surgical.

Combined with Rise, Advanced Medical will count more than $100 million in revenue this year.

The acquisition increases traveling RN revenue to approximately 40% of Advanced Medical’s revenue base and accelerates growth projections to upwards of $200 million within a few years, according to the company. With West Coast offices in Sacramento, Calif., and Portland, Ore., Rise will expand the national reach of Advanced Medical, which currently has offices in Port Orange, Fla., and Denver.

“This acquisition is key to both our growth and diversification strategies,” said Advanced Medical CEO Jennifer Fuicelli. “Our shared emphasis on a progressive company culture, technological innovations, and delivering exceptional patient care makes Rise and Advanced a perfect match.”

Advanced Medical, which was acquired by private equity firm Clearview Capital last year, aims to reach $250 million in revenue in four to five years through a combination of organic growth and acquisitions. The company seeks small to midsize travel nursing, travel therapy or school therapy focused staffing companies.
