Third-quarter revenue rose 4.6% at AMN Healthcare Services Inc. (NYSE: AMN), the largest US healthcare staffing firm. Revenue in the firm’s largest segment, nurse and allied solutions, rose 5.6%.
The firm estimates that less than $2 million of revenue was lost in the quarter due to disruptions associated with the hurricanes.

AMN forecast fourth-quarter revenue of between $498 million and $504 million, a projected year-over-year revenue increase of approximately 2% to 3%.
