AMN Healthcare Services Inc. (NYSE: AHS), a San Diego-based healthcare staffing company, named Sean Ebner as president of its locum tenens division effective March 5. Ebner has more than 10 years of experience leading teams on staffing and workforce solutions opportunities. Ebner most recently worked for Technisource, which is part of Randstad. AMN’s locum tenens operations include StaffCare and Linde Healthcare.

Ebner will replace Tim Boes, who held this position since October 2008.

AMN also announced that they are also changing the organization reporting relationships to better align their service offerings and to capitalize on the cross-selling opportunities inherent across the company’s divisions. Ebner will report directly to Ralph Henderson, whose responsibilities will now encompass all of AMN’s temporary staffing businesses. With this broader role, Henderson’s title will become president, healthcare staffing.
