American Health Staffing Group acquired PediaStaff, a provider of pediatric therapy and educational staffing services. The move expands AHSG into K-12 school settings.

“This acquisition represents a pivotal step forward in our growth strategy,” Mark Smith, CEO of AHSG, said in a press release. “We are excited to join forces with PediaStaff and enhance our ability to meet the evolving demands of specialized healthcare.”

The deal will provide clients access to a larger pool of healthcare professionals and educators, AHSG said in a statement. Healthcare professionals that work with PediaStaff will experience a wider variety of open positions nationwide.

“Together, we will have a greater impact on pediatric therapy and educational staffing, ensuring that children receive the best possible care and support,” Keith Adams, director of recruitment and PediaStaff, said in a press release.

The deal closed on Oct. 27. Terms of the transaction were not announced.

AHSG, based in Edmond, Oklahoma, ranks No. 37 on SIA’s list of largest healthcare staffing firms.
