ADP exec steps down

Mark Benjamin on Sept. 19 resigned as president, global enterprise solutions of Automatic Data Processing, Inc., effective Sept. 30, ADP (NASD: ADP) reported in a filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission. Roseland, NJ-based ADP provides PEO and other services, including paycheck processing.

NCR Corp. (NYSE: NCR), an omni-channel solutions provider, announced Thursday that Benjamin is joining the company as president and COO. Benjamin will be responsible for sales, industry solutions management, product development, services and supply chain operations.

Benjamin spent 24 years at ADP in a series of global assignments. He joined ADP as an account representative and moved up in a number of leadership positions, including ADP’s small business and employer services divisions. Most recently, he led a team of 20,000 employees, and managed a multi-billion-dollar portfolio of businesses serving clients in more than 100 countries.
