The 2019 Healthcare Staffing Summit begins today in Las Vegas. The event aims to delve into the trends and changing environment of the $17.5 billion healthcare temporary staffing market.

Staffing Industry Analysts President Barry Asin will lead a keynote talk on Thursday covering the outlook of the healthcare staffing industry.

Other keynotes will include “The Dichotomy of Leadership” by Flynn Cochran on Thursday. Cochran is a former Navy SEAL and chief strategy officer at Echelon Front.

In addition, Fabian Geyrhalter will deliver a keynote on Thursday afternoon titled “Becoming an Admired Brand Through Storytelling.” Geyrhalter is a brand strategist and author of “Bigger Than This — How to Turn Any Venture Into an Admired Brand.”

A keynote panel, also on Thursday afternoon, will include Sheldon Arora, CEO of LiquidAgents Healthcare; Susan Salka, president and CEO of AMN Healthcare Services Inc.; and Abigail Tremble, president; healthcare practice and chief concept design officer, at Randstad US.

Friday’s keynote will be “The Future of Healthcare,” by Dr. Josh Luke, founder of the National Readmission Prevention Collaboration.
