Resources Connection Inc. (NASDAQ: RGP), which operates as RGP, acquired a 100% stake in CloudGo Pte. Ltd., an IT services and consulting firm based in Singapore.
With the deal, RGP aims to accelerate growth in its digital consulting business, CEO Kate Duchene said in a press release.
“The team at CloudGo brings deep expertise and proven capabilities in solving their clients’ challenges with innovative approaches that recognize the unique needs of their businesses,” Duchene said.
CloudGo will serve as a platform in Asia Pacific for Veracity, RGP’s IT services and consulting business. Veracity is a wholly owned subsidiary of RGP headquartered in Glen Allen, Virginia.
In addition, CloudGo is an Elite ServiceNow Partner, and the acquisition will expand RGP’s ServiceNow capability in the US and European markets.
“Together, we will be able to offer both Veracity’s and CloudGo’s customers access to our collective capabilities and solutions,” Bhadresh Patel, CEO of Veracity and chief digital officer at RGP, said in a press release. “This combination should enable us to more quickly expand our reach across the APAC region, and it positions us to better support our clients globally.”
The deal closed Nov. 15. Terms of the transaction were not announced.
CloudGo was founded in 2016 by Rahul Garg and Rory Fitzpartrick. It has 80 employees and operations in Singapore, Australia and India.
Update: The current CloudGo leadership team will remain with the company and join the combined Veracity/CloudGo business with Fitzpatrick and Garg serving as regional managing directors. Fitzpatrick will lead the combined APAC ServiceNow business reporting into Jon Bohlman, COO of Veracity.
RGP is a professional staffing and services firm based in Irvine, California.
