Recruiting/Talent Acquisition Practices
This will be a general industry survey of staffing firm managers who have a significant relationship with their firms’ "talent acquisition/sourcing-recruiting” functions. The survey will allow us to publish a first-time look at the “state-of-the-art” of “talent acquisition” in the staffing industry (including organization, processes, metrics, and technology). The ideal person in your firm to complete the survey would be a person who is managing all or part of the talent acquisition function (though all responses will provide valuable information). The survey is simple and easy to take (mainly multiple-choice) and should require less than 30 minutes to complete.
NOTE: In addition to getting access to the eventual SIA survey findings report, those completing the survey will have the option to request a telephone session with the analyst to discuss their specific company results relative to the overall industry findings.

Staffing Industry Analysts’ 2012 List Survey
The Staffing Industry Analysts’ 2012 List Survey is used to compile annual staffing firm rankings and opportunity lists. Participants may qualify for our annual "Buyer Shopping Lists," (firms ranked by size within various segment and geographic criteria) as well as lists intended to identify fast-growing staffing firms, firms looking to cooperate in bids for government contracts and to help firms find acquirers looking to purchase. Staffing companies simply provide SIA with revenue data, and specified in the survey. Participation is free.

Social Media Awards
Staffing Industry Review is organizing SIA’s first ever social media awards competition. We are seeking the most innovative and effective ways companies in the staffing industry have used social media. We’ll be recognizing these best practices in the May issue of the magazine and will feature periodic updates in our articles and blogs.

Staffing Industry Pulse Survey
The monthly Pulse survey is our monthly snapshot of the U.S. staffing industry by staffing sector and temp help segment. It's a quick survey to complete (about 10-15 minutes), is completely anonymous, and in exchange for providing data you receive timely revenue, acquisition, and benchmarking trends of the industry in a ~25 page report.
We collect previous month's data starting at the beginning of each month and release it by the end of the current month (i.e. March data is collected throughout April and released at the end of April). The monthly Pulse survey is free to all participants, but only those who participate receive the report.

Staffing Industry Analysts’ 2011 Contingent Buyer Survey

The Staffing Industry Analysts Contingent Buyer Survey, now in its eighth year, is used to gather information on trends in contingent buyer spend, supplier management strategies and planned changes. The 2011 survey also includes our first-ever survey on contingent management compensation. Contingent managers from companies with greater than 1,000 employees were invited to participate.


Staffing Industry Benchmarking Consortium
The Staffing Industry Benchmarking Consortium (SIBC) is managed by Staffing Industry Analysts, and consists of a group of staffing companies -- large and small, privately-held and publicly-traded -- who confidentially provide Staffing Industry Analysts with their company's financial and operating data so that they, in turn can access aggregated benchmarking data. It is specifically designed for staffing firm CEOs, owners, CFOs, board members, and other senior executives who want an ongoing, timely scorecard on how their specific company's financial and business performance compares to similar staffing companies.

The SIBC survey is implemented twice a year. Corporate members may participate at no additional charge. To be notified when this survey opens again, please contact Member Services.

2012 Best Staffing Firms to Work For Survey
In March 2012 Staffing Industry Analysts will recognize the Best Staffing Firms to Work For at our 21st annual Staffing Industry Analysts Executive Forum. The best companies will be identified on the results of an employee engagement survey of staffing firm internal employees.
 
Additionally, for the first time ever, we will also announce a new category of winner--Best Staffing Firms to Work For: Temporary and Contract. The winners in this category will be identified on the results of a net promoter score survey of staffing firm temporary and contract employees.
