The Trump administration last week extended a ban on new green cards and work visas, including H-1B visas, the Los Angeles Times reported. The president’s proclamation extends the restrictions to March 31. They were initially put in place last April as the Covid-19 crisis started, and the proclamation said concerns over the impact of the pandemic on the labor market are continuing.
