Microsoft cuts recruitment, Google freezes hiring (Business Today)

Tech-giant Microsoft reduced job openings by 46% in a three-week period — from about 5,580 openings on March 22 to 3,028 by April 20, Business Today reported. And Google, which hired 20,000 employees last year, has decided to freeze hiring for the rest of 2020 amid the Covid-19 pandemic.
