Harvey Nash CEO steps down

Albert Ellis stepped down Jan. 31 from his role as CEO of Harvey Nash Group Ltd., a London-based provider of IT staffing and solutions with global operations. Beverley White took over the reins of the company on Feb. 3.

Ellis has led the company over the last 14 years. Under his leadership, Harvey Nash transitioned from a public company to a private company in 2018 by Dbay Advisors in a $125 million deal. Ellis will continue to be involved with Dbay on other investments, taking up a position as a senior advisor.

“Since becoming chief executive in 2005 and before that as chief financial officer, Albert has come to personify Harvey Nash,” Chairman Mike Branigan said.

Prior to becoming CEO in 2005, Ellis had served as CFO. Ellis initially joined the firm in 1998. He appears on Staffing Industry Analysts’ European Staffing 100 list of most influential people in the staffing industry.
