Mitchell Martin acquires IT staffing firm that specializes in the Salesforce ecosystem

Mitchell Martin Inc. acquired TwentyPine, an IT staffing firm specializing in the Salesforce ecosystem. The acquisition is part of Mitchell Martin’s strategy to penetrate high-growth niche markets and will expand the scope of its consultant network.

TwentyPine’s clients include existing Fortune 500 Salesforce.com customers, venture-backed startups, and Salesforce.com consulting partners/independent software vendors.

The deal closed Oct. 1; terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

New York-based TwentyPine will keep its name and operate as a division of Martin Mitchell. And while Jamie Coakley will step down as CEO to pursue other interests, Steve Reynolds will remain as director.

“TwentyPine’s network of 75,000-plus Salesforce professionals and unique capabilities combined with Mitchell Martin’s 35 years of industry knowledge presents a unique opportunity for us to deliver greater value to the Salesforce community,” said TwentyPine Founder Max Maeder.

Mitchell Martin CEO Gene Holtzman said the company aims to enhance its market position with the deal. “TwentyPine’s mission and values mirror our own and both clients and candidates alike will benefit from this winning combination,” Holtzman said.

Mitchell Martin, based in New York, provides information technology and healthcare staffing in 38 states.
