Manchester, UK-based engineering recruitment firm Morson Group purchased Leeds, UK-based IT staffing specialist The Bridge.

The Bridge has become a wholly-owned subsidiary within the Morson Group, maintaining its brand and contracts while joining the Morson family.

The Bridge has been trading for 16 years and has developed a UK-wide network of clients and an extensive contractor base, while Morson Group has a global presence with 40 offices worldwide covering all engineering markets including rail, aerospace defence, energy, infrastructure IT and oil and gas.

No further details of the transaction were disclosed.
