ACS Group names execs, changes structure

American CyberSystems Inc. named three new executives, including former Ciber executive Chris Batson. The Atlanta-based IT services company, which does business as ACS Group, also announced its changing its organizational structure to a regional model from a branch-focused model.

Batson will serve as president of ACS Group, with overall responsibility for all field operations and lines of business: Analysts, AIC, ComforceHealth, and HireGenics. Batson most recently served as senior VP and general manager of Ciber North America.  

ACS Group also Tim Atkinson and Don Stoner its field leadership team.

ACS Group also divided US business is now divided into five regions:

  • West: Led by Don Stoner
  • South Central: Led by Robert Hubbard
  • Southeast Region: Led by Tim Atkinson
  • Northeast region and Federal Government: Led by Rich Thomas

“We believe a greater level of intimacy with our clients, salespeople, delivery resources and consultants will accelerate growth across the country and create greater opportunities for our business and our team members,” said ACS Group CEO Raj Sardana. “Our main objective with these changes is to strengthen support for our people in the field and the group operating companies in order to capture additional business opportunities and fully delight our clients.”

ACS Group’s four primary lines of business will continue to have dedicated leaders across the company: Jeff Hoekstra will lead Analysts, Rich Thomas will lead AIC, Brian Soderholm will lead HireGenics and Beth Sheehan will lead ComforceHealth.
