Staffing Industry Analysts regularly produces lists of the largest staffing firms across segments and geographies. The lists can serve as a resource to help identify firms to partner with, to sell to, or to simply see where your firm ranks among the market heavyweights. One recent list, Largest IT Staffing Firms in the UK, is SIA’s first list specific to the UK IT staffing segment. Our research yielded 34 firms that exceeded the report’s £20 million threshold in estimated IT staffing revenue for 2016.
In addition to revenue, the report provides market share for each listed firm, based on our estimate of the overall segment. Collectively, the 34 firms represent more than three-quarters of the UK IT staffing market. The largest three companies on the list are Adecco, Impellam and ManpowerGroup, with a combined 25% of UK IT staffing market share.
As illustrated below, among the listed firms, 85% have corporate headquarters in the UK, with 6% in the US, 3% in Switzerland, 3% in the Netherlands, and 3% in Japan. However, some of the UK-based firms are likely global companies as well, given that 41% of the largest UK IT staffing firms ranked among the top 100 in our Largest Global Staffing Firms list.
