Healthcare staffing provider The Delta Companies announced Ty Chambers will serve as president of client services. Chambers has held numerous roles at The Delta Companies, including executive VP for Delta Physician Placement; he most recently served as executive VP of Delta Locum Tenens. He has also served on the board of the National Association of Locum Tenens Organization for three years, most notably as chairman of conferences.
AMN Healthcare Services Inc. (NYSE: AMN) announced Teri Fontenot has been appointed to its board as an independent director. Fontenot is CEO emeritus of Woman’s Hospital in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Fontenot has also served on board of the Sixth District Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta for 12 years.
Nurse staffing agency FlexRN named Diana Wylie as president effective immediately. Wylie most recently served as executive director and chief nursing officer at FlexRN and has been with the company since 2001. Former President Ogden Cummings will continue to serve as treasurer.
Online nurse staffing platform Trusted Health named Becky Kahn as head of workforce solutions. Kahn served in several executive positions at AMN Healthcare Inc. from 2002 through 2018 and had served as managing director of UK operations for Medacs Global Group. She is returning to the US after 18 months of working in the National Health System in the UK.
Trusted Health, an online nurse staffing platform, named Dan Weberg as head of clinical innovation. Weberg was formerly director of nursing innovation at Kaiser. Weberg has authored more than two dozen peer-reviewed articles and two textbooks, including Evidence Based Innovation Leadership for Health Professionals.
Freedom Home Care and Medical Staffing announced that Barbara Strongin will serve as its director of medical staffing. Freedom is based in the Chicago area.
