California county approves $7 million for strike replacement nurses (The Press-Enterprise)

The Press-Enterprise reports California’s Riverside County Board of Supervisors on Tuesday unanimously approved an agreement that gives county officials leeway to spend up to $7 million – minus $1.5 million already spent – for Nurse Bridge Consultants to provide temporary replacement nurses should Service Employees International Union Local 721 or another union head to the picket lines.
