Our 2017 Allied Health and Advance Practice Benchmarking Survey is now open

Benchmarking is critical to any organization, but it can often be difficult to find market data that is an appropriate comparison for your firm. Leaders of allied health staffing organizations know this all too well, given that this category is a catch all for many different types of occupations. That is why we have created a benchmarking survey specifically for allied health and advanced practice staffing, which segments information by 11 allied modalities and three advanced practice categories. Participants will receive our full report of results, which will include revenue growth, bill and pay rate, MSP penetration and more.

The survey can be accessed by clicking here.

A few findings from last year’s report of results* include:

  • Among allied health occupations, revenue growth was especially strong in medical technologist and respiratory therapy staffing (up 42% and 36%, respectively). Occupational therapist staffing grew the least among allied occupations, with just 2% revenue growth.
  • Average bill rates for physical and occupational therapists were $58.27 and $59.00, respectively.
  • Overall, 37% of allied health staffing revenue accounted for in this survey passed through a managed service provider (MSP) and 38% through a vendor management system (VMS).
  • Advanced practice revenue and volume grew by 16% and 13%, respectively. Within advanced practice, physician assistants showed the strongest revenue growth at 23%.

*Growth data pertains to the first half of 2015 to the first half of 2016. All other results pertain to the first half of 2016.
