AMN Healthcare Services Inc. (NYSE: AHS), the largest US healthcare staffing firm, appointed Bonnie Britton as president of Alpharetta, Ga.-based Locum Leaders division.

Britton most recently served as senior VP of sales at Staff Care, an AMN Healthcare company. Her background includes 15 years of experience in healthcare staffing leadership and business development, as well as management experience across healthcare, marketing, advertising and IT.

“We are thrilled to announce Bonnie’s promotion to president of Locum Leaders,” AMN Healthcare President and CEO Susan Salka said. “Under Bonnie’s leadership, our locum tenens staffing team will expand our footprint and upgrade our offerings to clients.”

Locum Leaders is a national locum tenens provider. AMN acquired Locum Leaders, Onward Healthcare and VMS provider Medefis from OGH LLC in January 2015 for a total purchase price of $82.5 million.
