Trillium Staffing acquired Boston-based Atlantic Associates Inc., effective Jan. 14.

Atlantic Associates, founded in 1998 by John Fitzgerald and Jack Harrington, provides strategic IT and engineering staffing services. Atlantic Associates will transition to the Trillium Technical brand and continue to be led by former Market Director Patrick McNamara in his new role as area manager. Fitzgerald and Harrington will not remain with the firm.

The addition compliments the existing Trillium Technical brand targeting high-level placement of IT and engineering professionals.

Atlantic Associates’ main office is in Boston, with a satellite location in Maryland serving the Washington DC, and mid-Atlantic market.

The Trillium brand of companies is privately owned by Poch and provides recruitment and staffing services through its divisions including: Trillium Staffing, Trillium Construction Services, Trillium Driver Solutions, Trillium Marine, Trillium Technical, Trillium Environmental and Trillium Techs.
