UK-based NRL Group acquires technical and engineering recruitment firm Intec UK

UK-based NRL Group, a privately-owned recruitment and technical services business, has acquired Intec UK Limited, a technical and engineering recruitment firm.

No financial details of the transaction were disclosed.

Intec, founded in 1983, also provides temporary and permanent personnel within the Power, Nuclear, Oil & Gas, Utilities, Rail, Construction and Aerospace sectors.

NRL stated that the acquisition of Intec will complement its recruitment capabilities within the technical sector. Through Intec’s office in Heysham, the acquisition enables NRL to better service clients’ requirements in the energy market, and takes the combined group turnover to circa £180 million.

Andrew Redmayne, CEO of NRL commented on the acquisition, “The acquisition is part of our strategic growth plan and we are pleased to welcome Intec’s employees, contractors and clients to the NRL Group. We are excited about the future development opportunities that the acquisition will create for both NRL and Intec, to offer all our clients an unrivalled recruitment service experience. NRL and Intec share the same values and culture, and we look forward to working with their team over the coming months to bring together two great companies.”

NRL, also founded in 1983, provides recruitment, training, rail maintenance and non-destructive testing services to the technical, engineering and construction industries.
