The US engineering temporary staffing segment generated $8.8 billion in revenue in 2019, according to the “Largest Engineering Staffing Firms in the US: 2020 Update” released by SIA.

The report estimates that 26 firms generated at least $50 million in US engineering temporary staffing revenue in 2019. Added together, these firms generated $6.4 billion in such revenue, accounting for 72% of the market, by SIA's estimates. 

The five largest firms in terms of 2019 temporary staffing revenue in the engineering segment are:

1. Aerotek (Allegis Group)
2. Modis (Adecco)
3. Kelly Services
4. System One
5. NES Fircroft

Two firms are included in this year’s ranking that did not appear in last year’s report: The Planet Group and US Tech Solutions.
