The Monster Employment Index for UAE shows online hiring is up in the UAE for February 2016. Overall demand for more staff was up by 45%.

The index showed that recruitment activity in the healthcare sector for the GCC region was up by 76% year-on-year, and up from 53% the previous month. Meanwhile the education sector showed a 72% increase year-on-year. Other sectors also showed growth including IT and Telecom/ISP registering a 58% growth.

“E-demand for jobs in the healthcare industry has increased 76% year-to-date, while demand for healthcare professionals in the UAE has also exhibited impressive growth of 66% year to date,” said Sanjay Modi, managing director for Monster.com (India, Middle East, Southeast Asia and Hong Kong).

“As the region continues to look for better talent, professionals with the right mix of expertise and skills are highly sought-after,” Modi said.
