Spain - 62% of unemployed would work abroad

62% of the unemployed would leave Spain to find employment in another country, according to new research by staffing agency Randstad Spain.

38% of the employed would equally leave the country if they could find a better job abroad.

Overall, 42% of Spaniards would work abroad and 65% would work in a different part of Spain.

47% of 25 to 34 year olds would work abroad followed by 43% of 18 to 24 year olds. The least enthusiastic about working abroad are the 45 to 65 year olds with only 21% saying that they would take up a job in another country.

The greatest geographic flexibility was found among foreigners who work in Spain, 55% of whom would leave the country if they could find a better job abroad.
