Singapore-based Advancer announced that it has appointed Kelvin Tong Wee Chiang as Chief Financial Officer with effect from 1 February 2023.

Chiang is a Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants and Certified Practicing Accountant with CPA Australia. Previously he was Chief Financial Officer, QT Vascular Ltd and Quantum Healthcare Limited from September 2020 to January 2023.

He was also Financial Controller, QT Vascular Ltd from July 2014 to August 2020 and Senior Manager, KPMG LLP from August 2000 to June 2014.

Outgoing CFO Michelle Li Ying is resigning from the firm with effect from 31 January 2023 to pursue other career opportunities. Ying was first appointed as CFO of Advancer in 2015.

Advancer also announced that Tan Aik Lye Brian is resigning from his role as Deputy Chief Operating Officer with effect from 27 January 2023 to also pursue other career opportunities. Brian was first appointed on September 2022.

The group said there are no material reasons for the resignations of Brian as Deputy Chief Operating Officer and for Ying as CFO.
