Korn Ferry announced that Gary Schmidt, Ph.D. has joined the firm as a Senior Client Partner, based in Korn Ferry's Singapore office. Gary’s focus will be on helping clients drive their talent strategy through leadership development, strategic talent management, senior executive assessment and coaching services. He has more than 30 years of leadership consulting experience with deep expertise in his focus areas, as well as in assessment center design, employee engagement and succession planning. Schmidt holds a Ph.D. in Industrial & Organizational Psychology from Tulane University. He previously worked with Right Management and YSC. "We are pleased to welcome an industry veteran to the firm. Korn Ferry also announced that Kathryn Ang has joined the firm as Senior Client Partner for the Consumer sector. She will be based in Korn Ferry's Singapore office. Kathurn will focus on senior level executive search and succession planning for Board of Director, CEO and other C-level positions across the fast-moving consumer goods, consumer healthcare, consumer durables, food & beverage and private equity companies in Southeast Asia. Kathyrn previously worked with Heidrick & Struggles as well as Swiss Pro and Boutique Search Firms.

UK-based recruiting firm TeamJobs has appointed Sally Bennett to head its new executive search division. Sally has worked with the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) as well as Engage Executive Search and Selection. She also founded Red One Recruitment and has more than 13 years of industry experience. The firm said she will help lead the its advance into executive recruitment, sourcing candidates from senior manager to board level, both nationally and internationally. “The new executive search division led by Sally Bennett will develop our business even further, as we support clients with their senior appointments across a range of leadership and management functions,” Jason Gault, managing director of TeamJobs, said. Sally will be based in the Bournemouth office.

G&L Scientific Inc, which provides consulting, staffing and support services for Clinical Research and Regulatory Affairs with offices in Europe and the US, announced the appointment of Brigid Flanagan as Vice President of Clinical Operations. Brigid has gained valuable and varied clinical operations experience over 20 years in the US in both the academic and commercial space. “The experience that she has gained over 20-plus years in clinical operations will be extremely valuable to our clients,” CEO of G&L Scientific, Stephen Loughrey, said.

Executive search firm Signium UK has named Andrew Dawson as director of its industrial practice, Paul Surridge as global head of leadership consulting, and Dominique Graham as global head of legal and professional services. Andrew previously worked at Hoggett Bowers and has more than 20 years’ experience in executive search in boutique as well as larger search firms. Paul joined Signium from Korn Ferry, where he was a senior principal. Dominique was one of the founders of market-leading legal search and consulting firm Graham Gill, which became part of Signium UK in 2015.
