Japan – nms Holdings net sales up 17.7%, gross margin narrows

Net sales rose 17.7% year over year at nms Holdings Corp. (2162:TYO) to JPY 35.82 billion (USD 247.9 million) in the first six months of its fiscal year — from 1 April to 30 September. Gross margin narrowed. It posted net income of JPY 129.1 million (USD 893,000)

The Tokyo-based company provides staffing, electronics assembly and designs and develops power supply equipment.

Share price and market cap

Shares in nms closed down 3.76% on Wednesday in Tokyo to JPY 256 (USD 1.77); they were 31.28% above their 52-week low, FT.com reported. The company had a market cap of JPY 5.75 billion (USD 39.8 million).
