Japan – World Holdings subsidiaries enters business alliance with real estate firm Tokyu Land

Japanese staffing firm World Holdings announced that its subsidiaries World Residential Co., Ltd. And World Staffing Co., Ltd. have entered into a comprehensive business alliance with real estate company Tokyu Land.

The three companies will share information, collaborate on marketing, and conduct joint research and development to create new businesses and services with the aim of enhancing added value, the group stated. Specifically, for logistics facilities that Tokyu Land develops, World Residential will draw on its strengths to procure potential sites for development, and World Staffing will use its expertise to hire personnel.

World Residential is a developer which specialises in procurement and development of land for real estate development. World Residential is involved in commercial land development primarily in the Kanto area in Japan.

World Staffing provides temporary staffing and subcontracting services across Japan. Specialising in particular in third-party logistics of the logistics industry, its strengths lie in its expertise in productivity enhancement within logistics warehouses, the group added.

Earlier this month, World Holdings reported revenue for the first six months ended 30 June 2021 of JPY 65.04 billion (USD 592.3 billion), a decrease of 8.2% compared to the previous year.
