Japan – World Holdings full year revenue up 18.7% as profits rise

Japanese outsourcing services company World Holdings (2429: JP) reported revenue on Friday for the full year ended 31 December 2022 of JPY 183.6 billion (USD 1.38 billion), an increase of 18.7% compared to the previous year.

World Holdings Co Ltd. provides outsourcing services in the manufacturing sector operating under the World Intec brand. The company also offers personnel staffing services for engineering and short-term positions.

On January 2022, the group announced that it will acquire Dimple Co., Ltd. Dimple was founded in 1991 and is involved in temporary staffing, information, store management and education and training.

The Products HR Business saw revenue rise by 25.4% while Service HR revenue rose by 29.0%. Revenue in Real Estate rose by 2.9%. The Information and Communication business was down 10.3% and the Agricultural Park business revenue increased by 28.1%.

Looking ahead the company forecasted revenue JPY 201.35 billion (USD 1.51 billion) for the year ended 31 December 2023.

World Holdings shares closed yesterday at JPY 2,613 (USD 19.64), up 1.6% on the day. The company has a market cap of JPY 46.86 billion (USD 352.2 million).
