Japan – World Holdings acquires temporary staffing firm Dimple

World Holdings, a Japanese outsourcing services company, announced that it will acquire Dimple Co., Ltd.

The effective date of the acquisition is 28 February 2022. The price of the acquisition is JPY 3.78 billion (USD 32.6 million). 

World Holdings will acquire 90% of the company from its shareholder J. Front Retailing Co., Ltd., and made it a subsidiary.

Dimple was founded in 1991 and is involved in temporary staffing, information, store management and education and training.

“We welcome Dimple to the group and made them one of the core operating companies in the "service field",” World Holdings stated. “The company's high value-added hospitality is combined with the know-how and network of our service-related human resources business. By combining them, we will realise the provision of human resources services with higher added value and promote further expansion of the ‘service’ field”.

World Holdings Co Ltd. provides outsourcing services in the manufacturing sector operating under the World Intec brand. The company also offers personnel staffing services for engineering and short-term positions.

The company reported revenue for the nine months ended 30 September 2021 of JPY 101.53 billion (USD 897.1 million), an increase of 2.9% compared to the previous year.
