Japanese HR firm Will Group (6089:TYO), which focuses on temporary staffing, business contracting and recruitment, reported revenue of JPY 131.08 billion (USD 1.01 billion) for the year ended 31 March 2022, an increase of 10.9% when compared to the same period last year.

Will Group is engaged in the human resource business focusing on temporary staffing, business contracting and recruitment. The group operates in seven segments: sales outsourcing, call centre outsourcing, factory outsourcing, nursing care domain support, overseas HR, and others (Japan) and the recently added start-up, human resources support business.
Revenue in the domestic business increased by 0.8% over the year while revenue in the overseas business jumped by 32.0% over the year. The group said in its ‘Other’ business it will work to strengthen the development of new platforms such as “Awamane”, which is a working time management system for foreign workers, and “Emport”, which is a foreign life support service, in order to expand this segment and continue to invest in new platform development. Revenue for this segment was up 25.7% over the year.
Looking ahead the company forecasted revenue of JPY 140 billion (USD 1.07 billion) for the year ended 31 March 2023.
Shares in Will Group closed at JPY 1,102.00 (USD 8.49), up 2.89% on the day and 18.49% above the 52 week low of JPY 930.00 (USD 7.16) set on 18 May 2021. The company has a market cap of JPY 24.45 billion (USD 188.35 million).
