Japan – Technopro Holdings appoints CEO, announces further leadership changes

Japanese staffing firm Technopro Holdings announced it is promoting Noriyuki Takeshi Yagi to the role of President and CEO.

Yagi was previously Director (Personnel and General Affairs and Deputy Corporate Social Responsibility) and Managing Executive Officer. The appointment is effective from 1 July 2021.

Current President and CEO Yasuji Nishio will become executive chairman of the firm.

The group also announced that Manabu Shimaoka will be appointed to the role of Representative Director, Vice President and COO. Previously Shimaoka was Director (in charge of business and overseas business) and managing executive officer.

Asai IsaoIchiro will be promoted to Senior Managing Director, from the previous role of Director (in charge of business) and Managing Executive Officer.

Hagiwara Toshihito will be appointed as CFO and Managing Director.

Technopro stated, “With the start of the new medium-term management plan, which will start in the next fiscal year (ending June 2022), we aim to further improve corporate value and develop our business under new leadership.”

“In order to quickly and accurately respond to increasingly complex and sophisticated management issues, we will establish a system of two representative directors, CEO and COO, with the aim of further strengthening and enhancing business execution and management systems,” the group stated. “The Chairman of the Board of Directors shall serve as the Chairman of the Board of Directors and supervise management as a non-executive director, in order to further strengthen corporate governance.”

The expected appointment dates for all the announced leadership changes is 1 July 2021.
