Japan – TechnoPro Holdings first quarter revenue climbs 15.8% with broad-based growth

TechnoPro Holdings, Inc, (6028:TYO) a Japan-based technology-focused staffing and services company, reported revenue today of JPY 48.2 billion (USD 324.5.0 million) for the first quarter ended 30 September 2022, an increase of 15.8% compared to the previous year.

The group said customer demand for its core business area of engineer dispatching and contract assignment has recovered to exceed pre-pandemic levels during the period.

TechnoPro is an engineering staffing company and offers services and solutions in mechanical and electronic design, IT and software development, and wide range of technological fields through outsourcing. The company also has a presence in biological, chemical and construction management businesses.

The group said gross profit was up due to the increased allocation of domestic engineers, the price hike of dispatch contracts, the expansion of project-type services, the new consolidation of Robosoft’s earning, and the decrease in provisions due to reduction of remaining paid leave days.

TechnoPro forecasted revenue of JPY 195.00 billion (USD 1.31 billion) for the year ended June 2023.

TechnoPro Holdings shares closed at JPY 3,545.00 (USD 23.85), up 1.43% on the day and 4.19% below its 52-week high of JPY 3,700.00 (USD 24.89), set on 29 October 2021. The company has a market cap of JPY 378.93 billion (USD 2.54 billion).
