Japanese staffing firm S-Pool (2471: JP) reported revenue today for the six months ended 31 May 2022 of JPY 13.66 billion (USD 100.6 million), an increase of 17.4% compared with the same period last year.

The group said favourable performance was maintained, driven by the two core businesses and the ‘new business’ division (part of the Business Solutions segment) which includes Environmental Management Support Services and Wide-Area Administrative BPO Services.

Founded in 1999, S-Pool is headquartered in Tokyo and provides outsourcing services as well as temporary staffing services in the sales and marketing and office support/secretarial support sectors.
Looking ahead, the company said it will aim for sustained growth through concentration of management resources on growth businesses. The group forecasted revenue of JPY 28.77 billion (USD 211.93 million) for the year ended November 2022.
Shares in S-Pool closed at JPY 1,173.00 (USD 8.64), up 2.71% on the day and 16.81% below its 52-week high of JPY 1,410.00, set on 5 April 2022. The company has a market cap of JPY 90.23 billion (USD 664.74 million).
