Japan – Nearly half of employees wish to continue their Covid-19 adapted work style: Persol

More than half, or 63.1% of employees in Japan said their working styles have changed since the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic, and among them, those who said that they would like to continue their current working styles is 48.9%, according to a survey from staffing firm Persol Holdings.

Persol’s survey polled 1,000 staff from large companies to small and medium-sized enterprises.

According to the survey, 13.3% of employees answered that they would like to adopt a new way of working in the future.

Further data from the survey showed that since the onset of the pandemic, 41.5%  said the degree of stress in their work environment "increased" or "slightly increased" while 7.8% said it “decreased” or "slightly decreased".
