Japanese staffing company JTec Corp. (2479: JP) reported revenue on Friday for the nine months ended 31 December 2020 of JPY 2.06 billion (USD 19.6 million), a decrease of 8.6% compared with last year.

JTec Corp offers outsourcing for technical personnel especially in technology. The company provides mechanical, electronic, and software engineering technicians. JTec also offers electric and electronic design, and software development on a contract basis.

The group said the pandemic had impacted its results. Selling, general and administrative expenses increased from the same period of the previous year as a result of capital investment including the expansion of floor space and strengthening of the training environment.

Looking ahead, the company forecasted revenue of JPY 2.74 billion (USD 26.1 million) for the year ended 31 March 2021.

Shares in JTec closed today at JPY 169.00 (USD 1.61), no change on the day and 22.83% below its 52-week high of 219.00 (USD 2.09), set on 30 January 2020. The company has a market cap of JPY 1.45 billion (USD 13.8 million).
