Japan – JAC Recruitment full year revenue up 22.5% while profits rise

Japanese staffing firm JAC Recruitment (2124: TYO) reported revenue yesterday for the full year ended 31 December 2022 of JPY 30.43 billion (USD 230.4 million), an increase of 22.5% compared to the previous year.

 JAC Recruitment provides recruitment services to local enterprises and multinationals in Japan, the United Kingdom, and the rest of Asia.

The company provides skilled permanent employees ranging from assistant level personnel to executives and various specialists. It also offers Japanese speaking and multilingual specialists, as well as online job listing services.

Revenue in the domestic recruitment business rose 20% to a record high. Revenue was up 44.8% for the Domestic Job Advertisement Business while revenue also rose by 43.7% for the Overseas Business.

Looking ahead the company forecasted revenue of JPY 36.65 billion (USD 277.48 million) for the year ended 31 December 2023.

JAC Recruitment shares closed yesterday at JPY 2,297 (USD 17.39), down 1.9% on the day. The company has a market cap of JPY 95.49 billion (USD 722.8 million).
