Japan – Human Associates Holdings revenue dips 9.2% as it plunges into loss

Human Associates Holdings (6575: TYO), a Japan-based company mainly engaged in employment placement and mental health care, reported revenue on Friday of JPY 1.84 billion (USD 17.5 million) for the nine months ended 31 December 2020, a decrease of 9.2% when compared to the previous year.

Human Associates Holdings’ Employment Placement segment mainly provides paid employment placement services based on the employment security law, focusing on high added-value human resources. It also operates a mental health business.

The group said it had been negatively impacted by the pandemic.

Looking ahead the company forecasted revenue of JPY 2.47 billion (USD 23.47 million) for the year ended March 2021.

Shares in Human Associates Holdings closed at JPY 702.00 (USD 6.67) on Friday, up 0.28% on the day. The company has a market cap of JPY 2.10 billion (USD 19.95 million).
