Japan – Dip Corp. reports average hourly wage for dispatch workers is up

The average hourly wage for dispatch, or temporary, workers in November was JPY 1,495 (USD 13.15), an increase of JPY 59 (USD 0.52) year over year, according to a report by Dip (2379:TYO), a staffing firm and job board headquartered in Tokyo. The data is taken from the hatarako.net jobs website.

The report also noted that while the average hourly wage rose year over year, it was down JPY 13 (USD 0.11) from the previous month.

Dip also reported the number of jobs for dispatch workers on hatarako.net was up 73.1% year over year in November to 184,000. The increase from the previous month was 17.5%.

The average hourly wage for dispatch workers rose year over year across all geographic areas of Japan in November.
